The weather was perfect for the annual Labour Day classic football game between the Calgary Stampeders and the Edmonton Eskimos. But that’s pretty much the only good thing the Stampeders received today as they got whipped by the Eskimos 35-7, ouch. A highlight is the Eskimo cheer squad which are not cheer leaders, but a squad made up of guys and gals, and man can they put on a show. The guys throws the cheerleaders way up in the air, it’s amazing. The Labour Day classic is one of my favorite days of football, but today hurt a bit.
